Pocket Pirates: The Great Drain Escape: Book 2
Chris Mould
In an old junk shop sits a dusty ship in a bottle. And when the world isn’t watching, a tiny pirate crew comes out to explore. They’re smaller than a teacup, but these scurvy sailors have a HUGE appetite for adventure!
When the junk-shop dog moves in underneath the Pocket Pirates’ shelf, their route to the kitchen is blocked! The noise of rumbling stomachs is keeping everyone awake, and their last few stale breadcrumbs won’t keep them going long.
Do they dare to go … OUTSIDE?
The second in an unmissable series about tiny pirates who have BIG adventures, with gorgeous black and white illustrations throughout, from the illustrator of A Boy Called Christmas.

Reviews

Interesting but very childish and headstrong when it came to the plot.

The story makes me feel excited and scared. It is about the Pocket Pirates escaped from the drain and found some food to eat. My favourite character is Button because he is clever. My favourite part is when they have a big feast , it sounds delicious.

I thought the book deserves to be rated out of 5/5 because the pictures in the book grabs my attention. I am still reading the book I am on page 85 that is so funny feels like Im in the story saying "My tummy is rumbling loudly enough already!"The paragraph makes me feel that Im inside the place saying that my tummy is rumbling Yes so they could even know that Chris Moulds books are awesome!

I thought that this book was excellent because it was about 4 pirates whose names were Button,Lily,Captian Crabstics and Old Uncle Noggin who were smaller than mice.It is fiction because there is no such thing as pirates who are smaller than mice.I liked Buton because He was brave just like me.Yes,I would recommend it to people who like pirates because the pirates had BIG adventures.

Button leaves the old junk shop in search of food after their route to the kitchen is blocked. The other pocket pirates leave the junk shop to find Button but Uncle Noggin ends up being swept away into the drains. How will they ever get back home? I love the Pocket Pirate books as they are so funny. You should read this book.
