Reviews

This book was a little bit difficult for me to read at times but it was so interesting and was about horses working during the war. The pictures in the book were lovely

This sweet old-fashioned and a real page turner of a book is about a bad lad and as you can imagine the crazy things he does like being expelled from the school, stealing cars and at the age of sixteen he ends up going to jail. One morning he's let out for a quick morning stroll and sees some horses in the stable and that's when bad lad's heart begins to grow. wonderful book by the award winning author of war horse Michael Morpurgo!
