Now our hero must reclaim Thor’s hammer, outwit the Frost Giants and release the Gods …
From two multi-award-winning creators at the height of their powers comes this rich and layered tale of courage, humour and breathtaking adventure. Lavishly produced and packed with Chris Riddell’s spellbinding illustrations, this is a spectacular and magical gift.

I liked this book because it was based in a different time period and included norse mythology which I am quite familiar with.

Listened to this as an audio book. I really enjoyed this book and the character descriptions. I was a bit disappointed by the ending - mainly I think because I was expecting more of an epic battle. However, the message about being yourself and doing 'you' could be a good discussion point with a class. This book could link well to learning about Vikings,

The storyline was fantastic, great illustrations by Chris Riddell and good characters. My favourite character was Loki, he turned into my favourite animal, the fox. If only i had those magic slippers, I could get to school on time. I would recommend it to fans of Neil Gaimen. It even has the hint of How To Train Your Dragon and the much loved Frozen.

I liked this book because I enjoy mythology, although it wasn't very funny or silly – which are my favourite type of books. The pictures of the frost giants are very weird.

I liked all the mythical creatures and Odd's back story. The illustrations were really good. My favourite character was the bear (which was really... Thor! spoliers!). I would recommend this book to those who are interested in myth and magic.
