This is a great collection of Rachel Rooney's poems which I think everyone will enjoy, especially children of about eight upwards. These poems always have a really great rhythmic flow and they are funny too. My Life As A Goldfish is hilarious and you just have to read Monster's Lunch. Birthday is brilliant too and I love the rhythm of it and the funny last line. I think this is a great book to get kids into poetry if they haven't read much before.
