Ghost Soldier: WW1 story
Theresa Breslin
A thrilling, poignant story of hope and loss set during World War 1, from Carnegie Medal-winning author Theresa Breslin.
Nobody believes in ghosts until they see one . . .
The war has changed everything for Rob and Millie. Their father is missing in action and they are terrified they’ll never see him again.
Then one night, deep in the woods, Rob and Millie see an eerie figure in the window of an abandoned house.
But there’s no such thing as ghosts, is there?
Reviews
I like that they saved the dad with the extra blood.

It was scary & mysterious I felt I was in the story. I felt it was also very scary for the children in the story Rob Because it talked about how injured soldiers lay and have they fought Yes

I think this book was alright. It's quite sad at parts but I think it was quite good. I recommend this book to people that enjoy books about war.

This book was very catchy! It was about 2 children named Millie (aged 7) and Rob (aged 12) that go to find their dad who was lost in war many years ago. In the middle of the night, they go out to look for their father but they have a big surprise coming towards them! I would definitely recommend this book for children that love spine-tickler tales!

It is fun with a capital F. Although the title may change your mind on the book once you get into it it is really griping.

This was good but sometimes and but boring. I would recommend it because it's has cliffhangers and its a ghost story! If you are easily scared I wouldn't recommend this book.

I think you should read it because it tells you lots of facts about the war. I recommend it to older children who do not get scared by ghost story's.
