Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series, and it is full of magic, action, and adventure. In this book, Harry, Ron, and Hermione set out on a mission to find and destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes, which are really important because they hold pieces of his soul and are the reason he is practically undefeatable. The quest takes them on a journey through the wizarding world. My favourite characters in this book are the Weasley twins, Fred and George. So when Rowling sacrificed Fred in this book, I almost gave up on finishing it. I found the magic behind the Deathly Hallows really interesting. The Hallows are three powerful magical objects: the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone, and the Invisibility Cloak. Learning about each of these items and their history added a lot of depth to the story. I thought it was amazing how they all connected to Harry and his journey. For example, the way the Invisibility Cloak had been passed down generations, and how Harry had such a symbolic piece of magic with him all along was impressive. The ending is very emotional and intense. There are big battles, and I was really worried about all the characters. The loss of Fred Weasley hit me hard, and I was so sad to see him go. I'm not sure how George will cope without him. I would definitely recommend Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to anyone who enjoys magic, adventure, and stories about friendship. I just wish there was more. I would have loved to read about how Harry, Ron and Hermione's families and how they navigate the wizarding world without Voldemort. Despite it being a great read, I'm only putting 4 stars because Fred really didn't have to die.
