I liked Monsieur Bellybutton because he was smelly until he got thrown in the sea. And then he was happy once and for all.I liked the bit where the biscuit billionaire went into Billy Williams also known as Caterpillar Joe’s butchers and he slipped on an eyeball and the pigs head slid off the wall. And also I liked the bit where Friday OLeary walked through the stinging nettles in shorts with bare feet. I like Spirit of the Rainbow because he’s magic then his Mum calls him. “It’s time for dinner”

This was a very funny book. My favourite character was the gingerbread man who is called Alan Taylor. It has funny chapter names like 'Alan Taylor Shows Off Like Nobody's Fat Business'! I really like the Mr Gum books.

It was quite funny because a gingerbread man was called Alan Taylor. I would recommend to one of my friend's brother and his name is William Menmuir.

This book is about a biscuit called Alan Taylor, who has tones of money which he stored in a biscuit tin, and he is a right show off. He invited everyone over in Lamonic Bibber to his house for a party to show off how rich he was. He also set up a huge Fun Fair, also, to show off! Everything was perfect, until that moment ended... at the Fun Fair, he went to a hot dog stand, and left his tin of money on the floor and hopped up on the counter, but little did he know, Mr Gum had something up his sleeve. The man running the hot dog stand told the Alan to come closer to the hot dogs he was cooking, he got closer, and closer... until... SNATCH! Mr Gum stole the biscuit tin and ran away with it, and the hot dog man was his friend, the butcher! Can Polly and Friday O'Leary help Alan get his money back, or will Alan be poor for the rest of his life?
