I think this book makes Barry feel happy, sad and irritated, as he has friends Bunky and Nancy, they go on holiday. There is a sign at holiday saying “free dogs”, Barry’s mum said he could get one tomorrow, but as he was naughty he wasn’t allowed one. So Barry tied a cabbage to a piece of string.

I would definitely recommend this book for my sister because she loves comedy books. My favourite character is Nancy Verkenwerken because of her smartness and kindness
