I liked how all the people from different countries were nice to Tom. I also liked all the facts I was given. Battling through many different weather types, one example is Tom's Kit List: 1. Bike 2. Panniers 3. Tool kit 4. Puncture pump & repair kit 5. Helmet 6. Tent 7. Sleeping bag & mat 8. camping stove, pan and spoon 9. Food & water supply 10. One pair of spare pants, shirt and spare socks 11. Waterproof coat (raincoat / rain jacket) 12. Woolly gloves and hats 13. Sunhat 14. Torch 15. Toothbrush 16. First-aid kit 17. Diary & pen 18. Map & compass 19. Camera 20. Passport 21. Teddy

It is about a boy who wants to cycle the world. He first cycled round Africa and in this book he rides America. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventures and learning about the world.

I liked this book because I learnt lots about America. I liked it when Tom had to run away from the mosquitos. I didn't like it when he ate a guinea pig.

I liked this book because it was a story about an ordinary boy named Tom who travels through South and North America on only his bicycle and some boats along the way. At the end of the book he reaches Alaska in the very tip of North America and then has a short splash around in the sea, I say short because apparently Polar Bears have been spotted and he didn't want his celebration to be being Polar Bear lunch.

This book was all about a boy cycling across the world, this story is part one. There was a good story but sometimes it can get a bit boring.
