When Thomas arrives in the Glade, a walled encampment at the centre
of a bizarre maze, all he remembers is his first name. But he’s
not alone. Like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why they’re there,
or what’s happened to the world outside. All they know is that
every morning when the walls slide back, they will risk everything
to find out.

This book is different to what I normally would read, but I really enjoyed it beacuse they don't remeber any of their past, only their names.I was trying to guess what was happening to them as I got further into the book, which made me want to keep reading.

A great action book that has a satisfying climax as it was an experiment. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure.

I find lots of violence in it but I liked the psychological thriller part and I love the mystery about them throughout the whole book which makes it exciting when they get bits of memory back. I liked Teresa because she is a bold character and when she comes the whole books gets way more interesting. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes books like the hunger games.

The Maze Runner is without a doubt the most slow developing book I have EVER read and personally, I don't blame you if it's been on your "Currently Reading" ever since you picked it up. But I can promise you one thing: if you can just pull through the first 13 chapters (round about 90 pages, not too much but still a lot considering how boring it is) I can GUARANTEE you will thank me, and yourself, later.
