Izzy and Willow are being taken for a walk along the river by Emily’s boisterous dog, Billy, when he decides to chase after a water-rat. Both animals land in the river, which is so choked with rubbish that Billy can’t get out. His paw is stuck in an old bike wheel and the girls must work together to free him. The adventure gives Izzy a great idea for their next project, though, and it’s a very very muddy one…

I would recommend this book to someone else because I loved reading it. My favourite character was Izzy because she done something about all the rubbish in the river.

This was a really good book!!! I loved the story and the descriptions and the theme of the book!!! I love how they tied up the river- but its sad because there are rivers like that in real life. My favourite character was Poppy because she was funny, kind and a good friend. I would definitely recommend!

I love this book as they arrange to clean up a very dirty river full of rubbish and waste. My favourite person was Izzy because she arranged the big clean-up over a weekend. I would recommend to anybody with an interest in saving the environment.

Izzy's River is the 2nd book in the series by Holly Webb. It's about a group of friends who decide to clean up a river, after poppy's dog fell in it and trapped he leg in an old bike. Izzy's is shy and doesn't think her friends like her, but turns out that she was so wrong, she is very good at organising thing. I would read this book over and over again, so definitely would recommend reading it if you have not already. although I would read the first book 'Maya's secret' before else you won't really understand this book. Hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!!!

I love Izzy because she cares about the river being a dump and finds a way to clean it up. They make posters and then loads of people want to help. It is really nice after they clean it up, back into a beautiful river. I really do rate this a 5.

I liked this because when they cleared up the part of the river or lake, and I liked how they raised money.
