The Giant of Jum
Elli Woollard, Benji Davies
""Fee!"" he said, and ""Fi!"" he said, and ""Fo!"" he said and ""Fum!""
Look out children, the Giant of Jum is grumpy and hungry and he’s off in search of a tasty snack. And the tastiest of all is a boy called Jack! But Jack and his friends don’t see a scary giant, they see a magically tall man – a man who can fetch lost balls and rescue cats from trees! Perhaps this hungry giant is softer than he seems…
An incredible rhyming text and a brilliant, big-hearted twist on a classic fairy tale, from the uniquely talented author and poet, Elli Woollard, and award-winning illustrator, Benji Davies.
The Giant of Jum also contains an important message for all: don’t eat kids, eat cake!

I liked it when they asked him to rescue the cat because he was stuck up a tree.

I like this book because the author had wrote a rhyming book like a poem. My favourite part is that the giant of jum say he is going to eat the kids but don't and make friends with the little children

I wonder why the giant just said that he was so kind but he really wanted to eat them. At the end he said he just wanted to eat cake. I didn't think this story really fitted together, with a giant eating cake.

In this story there is a giant who always eat children for his tea! One day he went to the town were all the small people lived. He saw some children, “ Just right for my tea” said the giant. But he didn’t eat the children because they need help! So the giant helped them. later that day, the giant saw other children, but again the chidren needed help, so the giant helped them. And the same thing hapend when he saw other children. The people from the town made a giant cake fit for a giant. That is because he helped all the children.
