The book is about a girl who have been separated from her cat and sent to a huge mansion because of the war and there she discovered a secret garden. I liked the girl named Emmie the best.Well I would maybe recommend it to someone else.

This book is a made up sequel to the secret garden,I really loved this book and it kept me glued to the page the characters are spot on and it looks so realistic to imagine I would reccommend this book to everyone.

The book was adventurous to find the garden behind the closed door and to revive it. My favourite character was Dicken because he loves animals and nature. I’d recommend the book for sure!

I enjoyed it as i liked that Mary , Colin and Dickon wre still in the story , just older! Emmie ( a little girl who is very like Mary when Mary was yougher ) gets evacuated to the house . The story is about her finding the secrate garen then playing in it . Also about the war and about her cat that she left at the orphanage ( she wanted to bring her but she wasn't allowed ) and Colin - an adult - went back and got her . I would reccomend it !

My favourite character is Emmie because she is a bit like me and i just love her character. My favourite part of the story was when Emmie first discovered the garden.
