I thought this book was really good, I rate it 5/5. My favourite person was Anna because she is so cute and friendly!! My favourite part was when Anna went to the French school. I would recommend, people like me don't really like non-fiction books but this was a fun way to learn about the refugees and the life of Judith Kerr.

This is an interesting story that gives a different perspective on WW2. This is about a girl called Anna who has lived in Germany all her life. Her father is a well known and respected writer but then the elections come. They get word that if Hitler comes to power he could take away their passports because they are Jews and could be sent to camps. Anna's pa leaves because he is most endangered it then Anna, her brother and their mum have to leave as well. They meet in Switzerland and have to start again. However they no longer have a lot of money so they have to move again. Will they be okay or will they continue to struggle... I would definitely recommend this book because it is so well written and worked out. It is also based on a true story which makes it even better

This is an amazing historic book set just before world war 2 broke out. Little Anna has to flee from her country because she and her family are jewish and are going to be captured by Hitler if they don't act fast. Anna meets new friends and has amazing adventures along the way.

This book is a heartwarming tale of a family having to cope with the second world war. It makes you laugh out loud, cry and it makes you feel like you really are part of the family.

This was an amazing fast moving story as it was a real story based on a Jewish girl growing up in Germany during world war. Having to move all around the world for safety is a mission foe Anna.
