Even more terrible happenings concerning the Baudelaire orphans. Dear Customer, If you have not heard anything about the Baudelaire orphans, then before you listen to even one sentence you should know this: Violet, Klaus and Sunny are kindhearted and quick-witted, but their lives, I’m sorry to say, are filled with bad luck and misery. All of the stories about these three children are unhappy and wretched, and this one may be the worst of them all. If you haven’t got the stomach for a story that includes a hurricane, a signalling device, hungry leeches, cold cucumber soup, a horrible villain and a doll named Pretty Penny, then this tape will probably fill you with despair. I will continue to record these tragic tales, for that is what I do. You, however, should decide for yourself whether you can possibly bear the responsibility of exposing others to this miserable story. With all due respect, Lemony Snicket

I wonder why Aunt Josephine framed her death?

Violet, Sunny and Klaus have yet, another tragic tale. If you don't want a story with a hurricane, deadly leeches, a doll called Pretty Penny and yet another murder, I think you should put it back on the shelf and seek something lighter.

My favourite character was Aunt Josephine because she was so scared of everything due to her husband Ike being eaten by the Lachrymose Leeches. I would recommend this book to my friend because she is interested in leeches.

Very funny. I liked the way aunt Josephine didn’t know that Sunny couldn’t speak properly yet. I also like the way sunny talks (shrieks)

In this story Aunt Josephine cares for the Baudelaire orphans. She is scared of everything from her Welcome mat to her phone which she has never touched. For every single thing she has ever seen she always has some reason why you might die by interacting with it. Count Olaf, this time, disguises himself as Captain Sam, a sailor, who pursues the children. Josephine writes a fake suicide note with hints about where she was hiding.
