""We're triplets. Surprise! Everyone thinks I'm the little sister. It's very annoying."" Phil, Maddie and Tina are triplets, but Tina has always been the little one. Luckily, Phil and Maddie always protect Tina - they make the best team. But, when they join super-strict Miss Lovejoy's class, they're split up. And Tina has to fend for herself for the first time. To make things worse, Tina has been paired up with class bully, Selma, who NO ONE wants to be friends with. When Miss Lovejoy asks them to help her create a butterfly garden in the school playground, Tina discovers she doesn't always need her sisters - and that there's a lot more to Selma than first meets the eye. A heartwarming story about friendship, bullying and confidence by bestselling author Jacqueline Wilson. She should be prescribed for all cases of reading reluctance. - Independent on Sunday

I really enjoyed reading this book. My favourite character is Maddie and Phil. The main character is Tina. I was interested in the part when Tina decided she wants to fly like a butterfly. Maddie and Phil's real names are Madiline and Phillipa. It was a very nice fictional book that I would read again.

I would recommend this book because it's a really good book and it tells you what Tina gets up to in the story. Tina is a triplet but she's very small. In this book Tina overcomes her fear of the school bully.

This was an extremely good book, one by Jaqcueline Wilson that I have wanted to read for a long time. Tina Maynard is a triplet, along with Phil and Maddie, ad when she starts Year 3, mean teacher Miss Lovejoy splits the girls up and forces Tina to make a butterfly garden with bully Selma Johnson. But Tina, being the smallest and most sickly triplet, doesn't know hard this task really is. After doing a sponsored spelling test, a White Elephant stall and a cake sale, Tina and Selma finally raise enough money to make the butterfly garden. But is Selma really the bully, or is she just bullied? And did Miss Lovejoy know that Selma really needed Tina as much as Tina needed Selma all along?... An astonishing children's novel by the legendary creator of Hetty Feather and Tracy a Beaker, a book to blow you away and get you stuck in. Perfect for avid readers age 7+
