Fans of Michael Morpurgo will love this animal adventure story. Drina loves nothing more than spending time with the old retired lion from her family’s circus. I really enjoyed and though it had a lot of tension in it and exitement. I really liked that the lion went everywhere and that the baddie was called gerbil! That added a bit of humor. My favorite character was Taffeta because she was funny!

Drina and her friends go about trying to save the life little village that everyone loves. This comes with a few small problems as Gerbil Cravat does everything he possible can to stop them. Can Drina and her rescue lion Jampot rescue a village? Or will Drina have to go back to mending circus costumes?
