I really liked this book because as well as telling lucy andy and doug's story when they were sent to antarctica to do an ice drilling project it also told me about douglas mawsons story along with his companions belgrave ninnis and xavier mertz and had quizzes,facts and fun activities along the way!

It is good if you want to know about the cold weather environment. It showed you how to build an igloo and they went to an old hut to survive the cold weather. I would recommend it to someone else because it is good if you want to know about the how to survive in the snow.

I liked it because it's got facts in the middle and it's got a story that could happen.
