My favourite character is Anne because she is like me. This story is about 4 children and a dog who go to their island for a few nights but people come on to the island and go into the old dungeons and steal all the gold in them the dad saves everything. All is well.

It was amazing and I like adventure books so this was perfect for me. I liked it when the children when to Kirren island on the boat. I would like to go by boat to this island. I would recommend it to children in year 2.

I would definitely recommend this book as I loved it. My favourite characters were Timothy and George. I really liked the adventure that they had going to find gold on George's island. I didn't like the Uncle at the start of the story but he was good in the end.

My favourite character is Aunt Fanny because she’s loving and caring. I also like all 4 children and Timmy but aunt fanny is my favourite. I would recommend it to people who like adventure stories. I think it is amazingly thought out by Enid Blyton. I also think it is very funny and sad and happy at times but still brilliant!

I absolutely loved this book. It included some funny bits, sad bits but most of all...exiting bits. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventurous books. I was so eager to find out what happened that I read the all 100 and something pages in one day! :)
