I didnt really enjoy this book unfortunately, I found some of the characters to be a bit unnecessary and made to be intentionally unlikeable which ruined some aspects of the story leaving me unable to root for them due to their poor decisions , and the plot twist we were left with at the end felt unnecessary and uncomfortable 1.5/5

This book is an amazing read which always stays a few pages ahead in its pages with twists and turn at every corner. Clary Fray, a young but stubborn girl is introduced to the dreamy world of the Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of warriors sworn to protect the world from demons. I liked all the characters in the book as they all have contrasting and different personalities that make them so unique. I would recommend this book to teenagers and especially those who like mystery stories with a hint of drama.

It was a great story with a lot of twists and mysteries. My favourite character was Jace because he always has a plan and remains calm. I would recommend it to people who like mystery and fantasy stories.

This book is the first book in my favorite seties ever. It’s so funny and the storyline and plot are so cool. There are so many plot twists though and so many surprises but that just makes the book way more interesting and everything fits so nicely in the end. It’s also really interesting because of the legends and folklore it’s based on and the idea of the Shadow World and Shadowhunters is absolutely amazing. My favorite character is Jace because he’s so funny and sarcastic and such an amazing Shadowhunter. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone because it’s so interesting that anyone would love it.

you should read this book because there are sooo many cliffhangers.I personally will recommend this for teens because there is swearing and stuff not appropiate. Other than that it is a really good and mind capturing series. If you have read the book and agree with me pls like it

This is a great book for older readers. It can be a bit gruesome but if you like a book with a lot of action then this is a book for you. The problem for me is that if you are English like me, some of the American spelt words can be annoying. Over all it is a fantastic book which I highly recommend older readers reading.

I think people should read this because it's full of lots of different supernatural creatures which is fun to read about. I loved all of the characters; they were much braver than I could ever be!
