I thought this book was quite funny. I got to know some interesting facts about Australia and an Australian dish called damper. It was a factual story. I enjoyed reading about Matty's big funny family. I would definitely recommend my friend to read this book.

I'm starting to like the Funny Family collection and Chris Higgins is a really good author. I also love all of the illustrations by Lee Wildish. My favourite character is Mattie because I like the way how she always wear a hat Then Uncle Vez thinks her name should be Hattie

I enjoyed this book because you get to meet Mattie’s Aunty and Uncle from Australia 🇦🇺. My favourite character was Grandma because she made friends with Mattie’s Aunty. I recommend this to everyone aged 7-10
