It was a good book to read, but not that scary. My favourite character was Carly Beth, as she was the one doing all the scaring with the mask. Yes I would recommend this book to someone else.

This is a short, easy to read and overall, personally a great book. I thought the story was a clever idea for a book. The story tells that a young girl, who is easily scared, is fed up so, for Halloween, wants to have the scariest mask of them all but she gets a little more than she asks for. I’d recommend this book if you don’t get easily scared, you enjoy a bit of horror and you just love Halloween. Remember this is a short book so if you’re looking for a big novel look elsewhere. This is a great book and be sure to check out the rest of the series, Goosebumps. Reader beware - you’re in for a scare!
