A bestselling story about confidence, self-esteem, and a shy little mouse who sets out on a journey to find his roar.

In a dry dusty place where the sand sparkled gold, stood a mighty flat rock, all craggy and old. And under that rock in a tinyful house, lived the littlest, quietest, meekest brown mouse.

Fed up of being ignored by the other animals, Mouse wishes he could roar like Lion. But, as he discovers, even the biggest, bossiest people are scared sometimes . . . and even the smallest creatures can have the heart of a lion!

A modern classic, The Lion Inside has sold over 200,000 copies in the UK alone and been translated into over 30 languages worldwide.

It's a very good book because it shows that you don't have to be big and brave to find your roar. It doesn't matter your size, how big or small or quiet or loud, you can always be brave if you need to, even if you are a shy person. My favourite character was the mouse. He was super brave to go and see the lion. The lion was afraid of him and showed that he didn't need to be afraid of small things. I would recommend the book because it's good for all ages.

I liked it when the lion made friends with the tiny mouse. Together they were good friends and a good team. The mouse wanted to learn to roar but when he got to the lion, the lion eeeeked because he was scared of the mouse.

The Lion Inside was a good story, and teaches us that we don't need to big to have that roar inside you. I can be small like the little mouse and still be brave.

The weirdest thing was when the Lion was afraid of the mouse. It was amazing that the Lion could lift a Hippo. I would recommend this to children.

I really enjoyed this book because it had a message in it. The message is don’t try to be like someone else, just be you. You are unique in every way. This book is interesting because it’s about a big, scary, fierce loin and a little brown mouse who wants to learn how to roar but the mouse has to face a very scary challenge… If you are curious to find out what the challenge was and if the mouse completed it, get the book and read it! Don’t feel small if no one listens to you, feel big and speak out loud, like a winner. Be proud. I would recommend this book to other people and my friends.
