Freak the Mighty is about Kevin and Max, childhood friends who bond over their disabilities and help each other navigate life. Max has a learning disability, and Kevin wears leg braces. They bond over their disabilities. Sadly Freak (Kevin) dies and Max spends a year being depressed, but then he writes about their adventures in a blank book Freak has given him, that becomes this story. It is heart warming book and i would certainly recommend it.
