It is about a family of ghost animals trying to save thier home and they eat special ginger biscuits to keep themselves energised and it is a very funny book.

I liked that the ghosts kept scaring the people who where trying to buy Starcross. I met the author, Claire Barker and she was very nice. I was excited to read her books.

Super book, I really mean it. For those who like thrills and chills, with a large spoonful of humour and half a bottle of friendship, this is it. Knitbone Pepper is a dog, and one day he dies. Willie, her mistress and her parents are more than sad. But Knitbone Pepper isn’t totally gone ! He is a ghost. With his new(and dead) friends, (other animals ghosts that have had special connections with their owners) deadness is pretty much a catastrophe mixed with laughter, emotions and most of all, fun.

this book is one where i started it with my class and kept reading over and over again until i found out that there was another one, so i read that over and over again finding new bits that i have never read before every time. so i would love for loads of children to read this this will put a smile on your face

It was so good I read it twice!!!!!It was very funny and Very sad\Happy.I liked it because It made you wonder about things like who passes you the shampoo when you are in the Bathroom alone.My favourite part was when they scared of a ghost hunter and his sister.
