This is the best book I have ever read. If you think the first and second books in the Alex Rider series were gripping then you will love Skeleton Key. My eyes were glued to every word and there is lots of thrill in every sentence. Even when all hope is lost, Alex can still fix everything.

This book’s characters were constructed incredibly well, with emotions that almost feel real to the reader. It was well written but the only thing that I didn’t like was that there were a bit too many deaths for my liking.

I thought the book was very good! However, I think that Turner and Troy, of the CIA, were very mean and I don't like Conrad, because he shouldn't have survived when the bomb he was carrying exploded and he wasn't nice to Alex. My favourite characters were General Alexei Sarov and Mrs Jones. I would recommend this book but I suggest reading Stormbreaker and Point Blanc beforehand, as Skeleton key is just No. 3 in a very long but exciting series.

Well written mysterious story. Recommend for 10 year olds as it is a bit scary in places.

There was a Russian General called Sarov who wanted to make the world a better place by blowing things up using a nuclear bomb! I liked it because at the end the forces were attacked by Russian sailors that hadn't fought in years
