A stunning selection of folk tales and legends about things that go bump in the night. A wide variety of traditional stories from all over the world, ranging from magical to farcical, unnerving to terrifying. Delightfully illustrated in paper-cut style by Francesca Greenwood.

I really enjoyed this book: the stories were all really good (some of them were quite scary!). My favourite story was 'The Vampire of Croglin Grange': I loved the ending and how it was really creepy all the way through). I would recommend this book to people who enjoy short stories, folklore, and magic!
