This book is a bit different than the others I have read. This book is more emotional and sadder than I thought. It’s about a girl buying a horse but then lost her.

I thought this book was awful to begin with because there was no adventure and excitement in it. I thought it improved in the middle. I gave the end 5 stars because I liked how Irina saw Bella again and brought her injured foal to only place she knew was safe.

I thought that it was a great book,my favourite character is Irina or Bella,I would recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries because I think that there is a few mysteries in it.

Boys do not judge this book by its cover as it is actually very good and not just aimed at girls which the book cover looks like. It’s an adventure story with twists and turns. Good characters and great description and set in pre-electricity, pre-car day’s. Worth a read.
