Mattie thinks her Worry Lists are over now that the Butterfields have won the lottery! But when the council threatens to close Mattie’s school because there aren’t enough children to go there her worries seem bigger than ever.

I have read this book

The book was about saving a school. Along with other parents Mattie and her family are going to save the school. My favourite character was Stanley because he was the responsible one in the family. And it is seen in Chapter 6 page 40 that Stanley learned how to read before he was five.

It’s a crazy family. My favourite bit was at the end when they found out that playing games and learning at home is fun!

I found it a bit sad that the council was threatening to close the school but I liked it when they managed to save the day. I also didn't like it when they nearly succeeded but then it looked like it was going to go wrong again. But they did succeed at the end.

I thought this book showed great determination in the Butterfields family trying to save Mattie's school from closing. I enjoyed all the characters in this book especially the parents campaigning and raising money to save Learnwell Primary. I would recommend this book for someone who likes humour and perseverance.
