This was a great book about a four year old girl named Sophie. My favourite part of this book was when she thought her Great Great Aunt Alice was really really really big. But, actually she was really really small. I think this would be a great book for 5, 6, and 7 yr olds.

I loved Sophie’s snail because Sophie loves animals big and small, and wants to be a farmer when she grows up. Sophie is quite different to other little girls and I really like her personality. I enjoyed the gentle style of writing and the way the author kept the end of a story a secret. I would recommend this story to others.

This is a book about Sophie's Snail and it was a fiction book and the author is Dick King Smith.The person I liked the best was Sophie because she is small but determinded.Something else is that she always goes plodding off to help insects and animals.I wonder what her next adventure will be?

Sophie was a very sweet girl, she was very clever and she found a snail, it was a very small yellow snail and she really liked it, but then she had to take it back into the garden.

Sophie wants to become a farmer.. The animals she is going to look are two fluffy white sheep, one fat pig, one spotty cow and five golden horses. Her favorite animal isn't a farm animal though.....it's a tiny yellow snail! Recommend for 7-9 years old, both boys and girls.

I love this book so much. My favourite part was when Sophie found a snail that was as big as her middle finger, and a lovely buttercup yellow. I would recommend this book to anyone 6 or over.

Sophie has brothers called Matthew and Mark they go to school Soon Sophie will go to school but she didn’t want to see Dawn because that mean little girl stepped on Sophie’s woodlouse she is a little bit stupid . Beacause Dawn did that Sophie stepped on Dawns favourite toy or pony twinkletoe that is her best pony ever.
