I love this book because it continues the story of Sophie, who is now in Reception class with nasty Dawn. In this book Sophie makes friends with a stray cat who she calls Tom, assuming he is a boy. She also continues farming bugs and dreaming of being a lady farmer. My favourite character is Tom the cat who has a personality of his own and is a very likeable cat. This book is full of humour, especially with Sophie’s new friend (servant) Duncan! I would recommend this book to others.

It was nice hearing about when she got her cat, but sad when she lost him, and very happy when she found him again. I would like to be a farmer. I liked Sophie the best because she was a farmer. I think people who are five years old would like this book because she is five.

What I have found out in this book is that Sophie is very small but very determined and has turned five. She has been wanting a pet and one day her wishes came true...I like this book because slowly you notice that if you want to become a teacher or a vet or anything if you keep trying to do the right thing then one day you will get to the right path. This is a fiction book and so far Dick King Smith book are one of my favourite.I can't wait for the next one!

This book is about Sophie and she wants to keep a stray cat. But her mum doesn’t let her because her dad doesn’t like them.

In this book Sophie adopts a stray cat and thinks it's a boy but it is a girl and has four kittens. I like this book because it has cats in and cats are my favourite animal. It is a short book and was easy to read. I think year 1 - year 3 should read his book.

Sophie loves everything to do with animals, just like me! When she grows up she wants to be a lady farmer.

I really like this book, especially when she finds Tom the cat. And then when it turns out that it’s a she, and Tom has babies. My favourite character is still Sophie I would recommend the second book.

I liked that it had a cat in the story, and the cat wasn't a boy, it turned out to be a girl and she had 4 kittens.

I liked this book because they find a cat called Tom and at the end they find out it's a girl and they call it Tomboy. My favourite character is Sophie because she is funny and says things like "you're mouldy, stupid and assive"

This book is fantastic. I love it so much. My favourite part is the part where Sophie finds her cat, Tom, for the first time. It is in the first chapter. I read it straight away. I really liked it.

I thought this book was brilliant because it was funny. The best character was Sophie. I would recommend this book to my Daddy. In this book Sophie thinks the cat, Tom, is a boy, but then he has kittens so she has to change his name to Tomboy. It is Aunt Al's ideas to call her that.
