I absolutely loved this book I recommend this book age 5~11 . I loved it because it was a mystery and my favourite character was Dennis because he's really funny and he writes it himself .

A funny fictional book about a cheeky boy called Dennis and his dog “Gnasher” and their adventures in Beanotown. My favourite part was when Dennis finally caught the Bash Street Bandit in the school. I recommend this book to those who like cheeky heroes.

Marshal Catapult Legend 30.09.2020

Pretty funny but not got much going on-just the diary of a prankster. Not for adults that are boring!
Commander Raccoon Teacup 12.09.2020

Dennis’ arch nemesis did lots of naughty things. Dennis has to catch him to find out who he was. It was Walter

Very funny. Amazing. If someone else recommends it they woulds really like it. Dennis thought it was a menace he knew but it was Creech reading his menacing diaries and following menacing lessons Dennis though he should sleep menace. I likes Dennis he really menacing and funny when he thought it was a ordinary menace. It could have been Walter. ( it wasn't of course but if it was i would be surprised

So far I’ve only read the first 4 books of the series, but this was one of the best even though I like most of the stories. The story is about Dennis the menace who you may know from the Beano. Who is currently on his fourth diary and you might be wondering ‘why is a menace like Dennis writing a diary?’ Well, he has realised that these things are good to jot down all your menaces so this time we find out that strange things are going on because he is being out-menaced by...the bash street bandit! And I really like the twist at the end because I did not see it coming. Now I only give this book a 3/5 because I thought it was a REALLY easy read but I still thoroughly enjoyed it so if you like detective stories and you like reading simple reads then this is definitely for you so check it out
