In the junk shop at the end of the street is a dusty old ship in a bottle. And when the world isn’t watching, a tiny pirate crew come out of the ship to explore. They aren’t much bigger than a matchstick, but they have a HUGE appetite for adventure…

When the skirting-board mice kidnap Jones, the ship’s cat, and ransom him for cheese, the Pocket Pirates spring into action. But to get the cheese, they must venture to the freezing cold place where it’s always winter … The place called Fridge. Can the Pocket Pirates survive their perilous journey and get their ship’s cat back …?

The first in an unmissable series about tiny pirates who have BIG adventures, with gorgeous illustrations throughout, from the illustrator of A Boy Called Christmas.

It is about tiny itsy bitsy pirates that had to give some mice some cheese to save their cat. My favourite character is button. I recommend for 5 year olds and over until they are 135 years old.

I like this story because there are lots of pirates in it and I like pirates and I love cheese too. The pirates have to steal cheese to distract the mice so they can get the ship's cat back. My favourite bits are that they used a toy train to move the cheese and when one of the pirates sat inside the cheese.

One day Jones the ships cat go's missing. the only way to get him back is to give the skirting board mice some cheese. But the only way to get cheese is to visit the place called Fridge. But when you're only 2 inches tall who knows what danger awaits. Read on to find out. PS my favorite character is Jimmy.

The Pocket Pirates ship's cat Jones has been kidnapped by the skirting board mice and they are demanding lots of cheese to release him. The pirates must visit the place called fridge which is very cold but how will they get out of fridge and back into the shop? They managed to get the cheese the mice want but can they get Jones back? The Pocket Pirate books are great - you should definitely read them.

It's good because you get to know what's going to happen in the next book by getting to know the characters. The story was good because they had different adventures and had to go through a fridge which was funny.
