The Fairy Detective Agency: The Flying Carpet Thief
Sally Gardner, David Roberts
‘Agatha Christie for kids’ – a brand new mystery in the detective agency series brimming with mystery and magic by million-copy-selling author, Sally Gardner.
The detectives at Wings and Co are in a bit of bother. There is a lost leprechaun on the loose and carpets are flying all over the village of Podgy Bottom, as if by magic. Oh, and worst of all, Fidget the cat has vanished on VERY URGENT business. It looks like a tricky case for our fairy detectives . . .

I quite liked this book because the suspense built up quite quickly. My favourite character in this book was fidget because she was very smartly dressed and very smart.I would recommend this book to children who believe in unicorns, fairies and fantasy.

I enjoyed reading this book because you learnt what was happening during the book. My favourite character is Emily. I would recommend this book to children over the age of 5 though younger children will need help reading the book.

I loved this book! I am really sad it is the last one (at least I think it is!).

This book was good because fidget and Emily had to track down a case, track down the flying carpet thief. There was also a boy called George and he had a genie in a flask. The character I liked the best was Buster's auntie who is a fairy, and when she gets angry she gets really tall, and she can do magic spells. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.
