I thought that the little boy wanted to be Roman when he was going to grow up into an adult but he is a kid right now so he is killing some animals and removing all the bones and blood then he cooked the animal and it become meat so he was helping and giving all the poor people food to eat. If it was fiction I would like the little boy more because then he will help reduce the number of poor people in the world.

This book is really good because they follow their dreams. You even learn some Latin in it! I would definitely recommend it.

This book isn't told by any old narrator ! It's told by a Raven one ! Learn about 11 year old boy Perilus who dreams of being a charioteer like Scorcha who lives across the road ( Scorcha isn't actually one yet but he is on trial for the Green Team). Then Scorcha gets put in a place nobody wants to be in and Perilus might have the chance to shine. Ps : make sure you have some biscuits whilst reading!

This book is about a Roman family who go to watch chariot racing, featuring a talking raven. One seemingly normal day, their predicted winner gets put in prison... My favourite character was the raven named Croakbag. I would recommend it to people who like funny things and history, any age.

This book is about Romans and there is a talking raven called Croakbag. In the story there is a chariot race which is when people used to sit on wooden chariots attached to horses and the one who gets to the finish line first is the winner. The little boy in this story, Perilus, is being taught to race chariots by a boy with black hair called Scorcha, who is in the race. On the day of the race, Scorcha is in jail and so Perilus has to be in the race instead. Perilus wins! I would recommend this to my sister.
