Winnie's Alien Sleepover
Laura Owen, Korky Paul
Winnie and Wilbur: Winnie’s Alien Sleepover, the new edition, is available on ISBN: 9780192748492. In these four new stories, illustrated by Korky Paul, everyone’s favourite witch is on the lookout! She’s looking for her teddy bear, she’s looking at Wilbur when he takes a starring role in a TV advert, she’s looking pretty wobbly when she tries to ride a bike, and she’s looking at stars (as well as the odd alien) on a stargazing sleepover! Fans who have grown up with Winnie, or those new to her charms, can enjoy her chaotic capers in this latest young fiction title, perfect for reading alone or for sharing at bedtime. Korky Paul’s exuberant black line illustrations complement the humour, slapstick, and moments of real drama that run through each story. Pure magic!
Reviews

My favourite character was the alien Martian because he was very funny. I also really like when Winnie told all of the children on the moon to wind up a piece of paper and use it as a telescope in three two one and then she made fireworks for the children.

Winnie the Witch is so funny and always gets up to mischief! She has a sleepover with the children as normal but when the children are all asleep, a UFO arrives with an alien to join the party!

This book was fiction. I really liked this book because the headteacher was cross that the alien scribbled in his book and ruined it. The martian in the book was nice and spoke words we could not understand. There was a sleepover the school and Winnie saw the aliens through her telescope. The Martian is an alien from Mars.
