The 39-Storey Treehouse is the third book in Andy Griffith’s and Terry Denton’s wacky treehouse adventures, where the laugh-out-loud story is told through a combination of text and fantastic cartoon-style illustrations.

‘The kind of book I would have loved as a kid’ – Tom Fletcher, author of The Danger Gang

Andy and Terry’s amazing treehouse has thirteen new levels! It used to be 13 storeys, then 26, but they keep expanding!

They’ve added a chocolate waterfall you can swim in, a volcano for toasting marshmallows, a bulldozer-battling level, a baby-dinosaur-petting zoo, a not-very-merry merry-go-round, a boxing elephant called the Trunkinator, an X-ray room, a disco with light-up dance floor, the world’s scariest roller coaster and a top-secret thirty-ninth level which hasn’t even been finished yet!

And this year Terry has created the greatest invention that he—or anyone else—has ever invented . . . a Once-upon-a-time machine that will write and illustrate their entire book for them!

Well, what are you waiting for? Come on up!

Climb more fun-filled levels by collecting all thirteen books in the seven million-copy-selling series – the perfect chapter books for reluctant readers.

Fiction. Favourite character was Terry because he’s great at inventing lots of things and sometimes really really silly

Is a super funny book about two best friends, Andy and Terry who live in the coolest tree house ever. They keep adding floors to their tree house. In this book it has 39 floors with crazy stuff like a giant swimming pool, a secret underground lab, and a 75 flavour ice cream machine. In the book they go on funny adventures and solve problems, like catching Professor Stupidio who uninvents everything and getting him to uninvent himself to save the world. Inventitons like the Once Upon a Time writing machine. It’s full of jokes and weird things that make you laugh. There are lots of drawings which make it even funnier. I could not stop laughing in chapter 9 and re-read sections again and again in character voices and laughing. There were dot-to-dot rockets and marshmallows and Andy can’t count he blast off. I would recommend this book to children who like an easy read with silly jokes and over-the-top situations that children find hilarious. The illustrations are great.

I think that it is a really funny book about Terry inventing the Once Upon a Time Machine that writes book. My favourite person is Andy because he is very focused. It interests me how Terry draws everything even the universe after everything got uninvented. I would recommend this book to people who likes reading humorous books.

It was a very good book. It was about two people named Andy and Terry who had a treehouse with 39 storeys. It was fun but it was a bit too long.

I really like this fiction book as it is very funny. My favourite character is Terry because he is funny and good at drawing. My favourite moment in the book was when the 39th storey treehouse got un-invented and Terry and Andy had to go to Jill's house and sleep with all the animals.
