The eighth hilarious title in the award-winning, laugh-out-loud series, The World of Norm. Perfect for fans of Tom Gates and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Norm knew it was going to be one of those days when he went to the toilet, just for something to do…

But things can only get better, right? WRONG! If only Brian and Dave hadn’t found Dad’s million year old aftershave. If only Mikey wasn’t feeling lower than a snake’s backside. If only Chelsea would hurry up and move!

It’s all ifs and buts though. Or should that be whiffs and butts? Either way it’s just so flipping unfair!

With brilliantly funny illustrations throughout from Donough O’Malley.

Praise for Jonathan Meres:

Following a cycling disaster involving his best friend, a garage and a tea-set, Norm should have given the £100 reparation to his mother, but somehow it gets forgotten so that he can repair his bike. The norm life cycle is comprised of three linked stages: emergence, cascade, and internalization (1998, 896-901). Finnemore and Sikkink begin by positing a catalytic role for norm entrepreneurs in fostering norm emergence

This book is a funny book. The main character is Norm, who always gets the blame for what his brothers ( Dave and Brian ) do. I Reccomend this book for 8+. It ends by Dave finally getting in trouble for using his dad's special after shave on their dog.

Like all the other Norm books, I recommend you read them in order but you don't have to, you can read them in any order but it helps you get to know the characters better! If you like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, you'll love these books! Recommended for kids aged 10 and up.
