The Wild Beyond: Book 3
Piers Torday, Oliver Hembrough, Piers Torday
FROM THE WINNER OF THE GUARDIAN CHILDREN’S FICTION PRIZE. This is the story of a boy named Kester. He has brought the animals of his world back from the brink of disaster, and he believes there is hope on the other side. And, he might just be right. The final heart-stopping instalment of the Dark Wild Trilogy.
Reviews

This book could become a reality if humans don't change their ways soon. In fact it already is. The general baddie in the series wiped out all the animals in the world for money. We are doing that all the time and their won't always be a Kester Jaynes to save the world for us.

Third in the trilogy and beautifully wraps up the story whilst leaving you with many questions and the prospect of imagining how the story could continue. The chapters leave you on the edge of your seat as you will the main character and his unusual friends on, hoping they can fulfil their adventure.

This was a good book and was very adventurous and exciting. Kester ( the main boy ) is able to speak to animals but can't speak to humans. This book took a lot of turns and surprising twists and i enjoyed it very much

This was an amazing book all about the troubles of what the world has turned into after a devastating virus -The Red Eye- then a tormenting uprise of a dark wild and now, Swelyn Stone creating unimaginable havoc. Kester, His friends and his wild travel to Faraway in search of a plant that a dying whale has told them about. This creature informed the trio that it could cure the world they now live in. A great read recommending it to all people who like adventure.

The last and most amazing book of all in the trilogy. Quite tense at every flick of the page. Piers never ceases to amaze me in surprise.

This was a great book! I have read it at school and I highly recommend it! But before reading this book, you should read The Last Wild (first book of the trilogy) and The Dark Wild (second book of the trilogy). It's all about this boy called Kester, and he can talk to animals. I won't share more because I don't want you all to get spoliers.

I absolutely loved the Lizard character in this book and especially the fact that at the end of the book you realise that he is a baby dragon.

I thought that it was a great book because it showed friendship. My favourite person was Kester because he is the most adventurous. I would recommend it to someone else.

It's about a boy who can talk to animals. He must save the world. There is a funny mouse who likes to do lots of dances; I liked her very much.
