This book was... thrilling. I know the cover looks so babyish and there are so less pages in the book. But you know what they saw never judge a book by its cover! Well, being honest, the book could use some more vocabulary and a little more interest. Also the book could have gotten written longer. However, facing the positive side it is a very fictional book and is suitable for younger children like 6-8. The setting is a very clever plus good idea. Also I noticed that it does not even tell the author or the illustrator in the front cover! This book could use improving. But otherwise if you're looking for something to read more normal and VERY fictional I recommend this book! Or find a better one and tell me about it! We should never discourage the author! They always work there hardest! But we could nicely tell them how to improve it! Other than that, I hope you enjoy reading!

I liked the cat because I’m a cat person. The cat was my favourite character. I would recommend this book to a friend. Ruby would enjoy this book because it has cute stuff in it.

what I really liked about the book is so a little boy called tibben was learning to be a potion master and it was that it was very interesting because it told you all the potions at the end.

Tibben is learning to be a potions master with Grandpa but he's not very good at it and keeps getting the potions wrong. He goes to help deal with a terrible monster in the Western Valley which is bringing Blight to the area and finds that the monster isn't really a monster at all. He manages to make his first potion correctly and gets his first glint on his cape so he is on the way to becoming a potions master. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
