“Anna tells her dog Timmy everything, but when things get to much who else will listen?” This book was such a ride! I loved it. Dog ears is about a dog named Timmy who belongs to a girl named Anna. This book in written in a diary form but Anna is telling all of it to Timmy. But what happens when life at secondary school and having a new baby brother gets hard? Who else can she tell everything to? My favourite character is Anna because although she struggles she is really kind and thoughtful person. I would recommend this book to 11+.

Very sad near the end.. I wanted the book to keep on going! I never put the book down, and enjoyed it a LOT. This gives a message that a friend is always nearby to listen to your problems and cheer you up! Anna was very kind to Lauren when she heard what Lauren was going through. She apologized to Lauren and eventually, told hey friends about Lauren's Mum dying.. Anne Booth must've been so happy when she made this book and sent it out for others to read!

I didn't like this book that much, because it wasn't that adventurous and nothing sudden happens in it.

I loved this book because of the way Anne Booth told the story. She was writing a diary to her dog. It is full of excitement and you can't put the book down. You'll love it!
