It was amazing. I loved the bit where he is at Midges house and they are hiding under the bed listening to his older sisters conversation with her friend. It was the funniest book I have ever read so far.

I liked it when Midge and his friend tryed to sail out to sea and when Midges sister had a party without them! I also like it when Midge says he dosen't like WEDNESDAYS because he can't spell it and it always seems to rain on Wednesday. There were also two days till the weekend.

A short , fun read about getting into mischief! I really like this book because describes the characters well and also it is written well! I like character called Midge and his friend, they always getting up to all sorts of mischief. They live in Liverpool, but have grand ideas of runing away to seaside. I think this book is very funny. Recommended :-)

I really liked this book because it has a nice introduction into the story and describes the characters well.My favourite characters are Midge and his friend. They are the main people in the story.However I give it four stars instead of five because personally I think the story doesn't move on very easily.

Great book about a child and his friend escaping on a boat to come back and find his friends sister inviting girls and boys around to have a party.
