Love Cathy Cassidy or Jacqueline Wilson? Don't miss this gorgeous new series set in the heady world of gymnastics. Ellie has a dream … to become a world-class gymnast. When she’s offered a place at the prestigious London Gymnastics Academy, it looks like she has a chance to make that dream come true. But there are many obstacles to overcome, new friends to make, and rivalries to face! Will she make it, against all the odds? Making the Grade is the first book in the Somersaults and Dreams series, a rollercoaster ride full of friendship, rivalries, setbacks and triumphs, with echoes of classic stories like Ballet Shoes.

It helped me learn some gymnastics moves.

This book was my favourite book ever! I think it should be a 10/10 but they only have a 5. It was so nice how she didn't make it to the gymnastics team but then she got a 2nd chance and she made it! I have no favourite parts because I loved it all. Even though I don't do gymnastics this book was amazing and I want to read the other books in this set. It also taught me to never give up and I totally recommend this book for children my age.

I thought this was a really, really good story. I liked it when I heard that Ellie, the main character, went to one of the championships. My favourite character was Ellie, because she was really brave. She was really nervous about the championship and didn't think she could do the beam, but she got a high score. I would recommend it to someone else.
