I thought it was a really nice book especially as I also love dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens and any types of animals like Emily does. My favourite character was Maya because was very kind and helpful towards Emily when she went to the shelter/organised the show. I have also read other books about Maya, Izzy, Emily and Poppy.

All Emily wants is a dog but with two younger brothers and one younger sister, there is no room for a dog. Emily's friends recommend that she helps out at the local animal shelter as she can be with animals all of the time. However, the animal shelter is in need of repair. The roof is leaking and not many people and giving the beloved animals a home. Can Emily and her friends fundraise lots of money to help out?

I love this story as a girl called Emily really wants a dog but can't get it because their mom already has to much to look after including Emily. My favourite character is Emily as she sounds like a happy , cheerful girl. The thing which interested me was how Emily and her friends raised money for a broken down barn. I would recommend it to many others.

I thought this book was sensational and I really liked it. This book is all about pets and I like pets. I liked Emily because she was helping Mrs Everet with walking her dog. She made a cake that looked really nice and volunteered at the animal shelter. I would recommend this book.

Emily only wants one thing … a dog. All of Emily's friends have a pet or don't want one. Maya has a big black cat called Henry and Poppy has a bulldog called Billy. Yet Emily won't give up to help animals or walk them so Emily and Maya help the local animal shelter earn more money to fix the roof. Maya and Emily are going to celebrate the shelter's tenth year running by holding a fundraising party to raise money.

I liked Emily because she was really kind to the animals at the shelter and took her own time looking after them. It was a great book. I rate it 5.

It starts with her not able to have a dog but then she got her parents and took them to an animal rescue station. Then she shows them that she can handle a dog and then they get a dog.
