Something that when I looked at didn’t spark my attention but when you get into it makes you think of things you would of never thought of if you did not read this book. Really looking forward to reading the next book in the uncommoners series: The Smoking Hourglass

This is one of my favourite books and I really e joy reading it. I like the books that are magic but not fairy wands magic! My favourite character was mr. punch because he was hiding his identity all along and helping everyone get through. I would reccomend this to the whole universe and I can't wait to read the next one!

This book is about a girl named Ivy and her brother, Seb. Their Mother and Father are imprisoned by the Dirge. Ivy and Seb discover that their Grandma Sylvie is an Uncommoner, this means that she comes from the Land of Lundinor. However, there was a battle in Lundinor and she mysteriously left the Land. Back in England or the Common World (as the Uncommon folk call our World), Ivy’s and Seb’s grandma had a car accident and sustained a head injury. She had amnesia which had made her forget everything about her life in Lundinor. The Uncommon World uses Uncommon objects that have magical powers but where there is magic evil will often lurk... This story focuses on Ivy and Seb finding their Mother and Father and trying to conquer the Dirge. Will Ivy and Seb bring their Mother and Father home and bring justice to the Land of Lundinor? It is a fictional book, the genre is Fantasy. I really recommend this book to children who love stories about fantasy worlds where magic is abound. My favourite character in the book is Valian because he is cheeky, perseveres and brave.

My favourite character in this book is Seb. My favourite part was when they discovered the Wrench mansion. It’s a really good book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes weird happenings.
