Emily Windsnap and the Monster from the Deep: Book 2
Sarah Gibb, Liz Kessler
Emily Windsnap is thrilled to arrive at her new home - a secret island near the Bermuda Triangle where humans and merfolk live together, and where being a girl who grows a tail as soon as she enters the water isn't a problem. But, being Emily, she can't resist exploring forbidden places, and, as a result, she inadvertently wakes the kraken - the legendary sea monster that has been asleep for two hundred years! Emily tries to undo the damage as the kraken's terrifying tentacles rise from the deep! Mermaid magic and a fabulous adventure focused on the power of friendship make this a real page-turner.

This was brilliant because Emily has more adventures and has to stop a Cracan. I recommend this!

This fabulous book, the second in the series, about Emily Windsnap arriving at her home, which is a perfect paradise, where humans and merfolk can live together. Unfortunately, Emily destroys the safety of the island by waking the Kraken. It is a fiction book and my favourite character was Emily because she showed great bravery and saved the island. I read this book in two sittings as I couldn't put it down and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes mermaids and adventure stories.

I thought it was a amazing experience to read it.It made me feel like i was there, but glad i wasn't.(I think i would of been gobbled up by the Kraken in no time). The person i liked the most was Emily Windsnap, because, she goes on lots of amazing adventures with her friend (Shona), and i loved the detail the author put in.It interested me because it had lots of mystery, detail, adventure, and way more. And yes, i would recommend this to anyone out there in the world who love's action, mystery, detail, and adventures.

I absolutely loved this story because it took you for an adventure with a crazy monster called the Kraken. My favourite characters were Emilia Windsnap and Shona because at one point the Kraken is under their control.

It wasn't as good as the first one but it was still good. I like how she gets to live on a secret island and woke up the kraken which was cool.

I loved this book so much! A mermaid call Emily Windsnap is on her way to her new home but when Emily’s exploring mind takes her way to far how will she turn back what has been caused? This book will make you tense and will take you on an exciting adventure full of friendship and enemies. My favourite character was of course Emily Windsnap as she is so brave and daring. Liz Kessler is one of my favourite authors I definitely recommend her!! I recommend this book for 9+
