This is all about the life story of Florence Nightingale.She was a pioneer who paved the way for women to become doctors.Florence (or Flo) was highly educated by her governess,Miss Christie,as well as her sister,Parthe.She cared for many dying soldiers in the Scutari Hospital in the Crimean War.I would definitely recommend this book as it inspired me to be a person who stands up for their rights.

This was a factual book about Florence Nightingale who was a famous nurse. I liked all the facts about her and what she did and that she did things women didn’t normally do at that time. I would like to be a nurse when I grow up too.
