I thought this book was mysterious and exiting. In this book Bastian Balthazar Bux thinks he is not a hero but ends up saving Fantastica.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, despite its considerable length. My favorite character was Atreyu, who exhibited remarkable bravery and loyalty as he embarked on a quest to aid the ailing ruler of Fantastica, the Childlike Empress. Atreyu possessed olive green skin and blue-black hair, and resided in the fantastical realm of Fantastica. The narrative also featured two other prominent characters, namely Bastian, a human boy who initiates the story, and Falkor, the luck Dragon. Bastian, who was being pursued by bullies, sought refuge in a bookshop where he conversed with the proprietor, Mr. Coreander, and subsequently purloined a book entitled the Neverending Story. As he read the book in the school attic, he became so engrossed in the tale that he was transported into its pages. Overall, this was a captivating and enchanting adventure that I relished reading.

This book has made me look at the world from a different perspective, and think about what could be true even if people don’t believe it. It was full of magic, mystery and enchantment. My favourite character was Atreyu, for his kindness and loyalty towards Bastian. This is one of the most spellbinding books I have ever read. The book ends, but the story doesn’t! I would recommend this book to anyone who is age 8+. It will change everyone’s mindset. Five stars

It is such a great book. I was so into reading it. Although it was quite thick, every bit was great and I couldn't stop reading it. It was so different to all of the other books I have read with different mythical creature that he met on his journey. It was the best fiction book I have ever read and my favourite character was the Childlike Empress (Moon Child at the end end of the book) because of how kind she was to Bastian. Apart from its thickness, I would recommend this book everyone who wants to read it.

I liked the story a lot, the main character, Bastian, went on lots of adventures so it was very exciting. It was nice to read, and I would definitely recommend it to someone else, and the story ended on a happy note. My favourite character was Atreyu, because he was very brave and also was kind. He's probably the 2nd protagonist.
