This book is fiction. I would recommend this book to 8 year olds and over. I enjoyed reading this book because it is about a beautiful swan

There was a boy called Sam in this story, and he was ungraceful.

I liked the book because it is about an animal - I love stories about animals. It is based on a swan called Louis who can't speak a word and goes off to find a wife. My favourite character was Louis' father because he said odd words which I had to look up in the dictionary, which was interesting. I would recommend this book to people who have interests in birds or animals.

It was an emotional story. I was crying through some of it!
