The Castle of Adventure is the second exciting instalment in the Adventure series by Enid Blyton, one of the best-loved children’s writers of all time.

Why is everyone so afraid of the castle on the hill, and what dark secrets lurk inside its walls?

Philip, Dinah, Lucy-Ann, Jack and Kiki the parrot are on holiday in the countryside, staying on the side of Castle Hill. When flashing lights are seen in a distant tower, they decide to investigate – and discover a very sinister plot concealed within its hidden rooms and gloomy underground passages.

I like it because they found Bill Smuggs and he helped them figure out the problem

I liked Jack because of his stealth when he was trying to hide from the castle owners. The story was adventurous and had lots of actions. Also, there are a lot of mythical tales about the castle. Yes I would definitely recommend it to someone else.

Amazing, super interesting. The nearer to the end you get, the more interesting it gets. I would definitely recommend. My favourite character is Kiki.

A fun adventurous book about four children named, Philip, Jack, Dinah and Lucy. My favourite character was Jack because he made friends with all sorts of animals including a fox and a hedgehog.

A good adventure story, I read it in three days. I see why it was my Nanny’s favourite book when she was little.

This book is incredible, I loved it when the bad guys got scared because the armour started moving, that’s probably my favourite part.

This book made me feel a bit scared because of things like being shot and being locked up.I was glad when one of the children managed to call for help and the horrible people were…whoops!I think I might have told too much!Well,it has a happy ending so don't worry. If it is too scary or something like that it doesn't matter.I found it great and would recommend it to bold people.
